Marketo and Centrify Partner for Active Directory Based Single-Sign On and Mobile Identity Management

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Nov. 4, 2013 -- Centrify Corporation, the leader in Unified Identity Services across data center, cloud and mobile, today announced a new free solution for Marketo (NASDAQ: MKTO) customers -- Centrify for Marketo Single Sign-On (SSO). Marketo users now have seamless and secure one-click access to Marketo’s externally hosted marketing SaaS applications across any type of approved device. The companies have collaborated to ensure interoperability for customers and a simplified experience for end users.

Marketo LaunchPoint is the most complete ecosystem of marketing solutions. LaunchPoint includes some of the world’s most innovative, best-of-breed marketing solutions, spanning all areas of marketing including: analytics & big data, content marketing, events & webinars, lead data, lifecycle marketing, online ads & campaigns, sales tools, social media, and top of the funnel and services solutions.

Centrify’s solutions provide Unified Identity Services across data center, cloud and mobile -- resulting in one single login for users and one unified identity infrastructure for IT. Centrify’s software and cloud services let organizations securely leverage their existing identity infrastructure to centrally manage authentication, access control, privilege management, policy enforcement and compliance across on-premise and cloud resources. Using Centrify, enterprises reduce operational and helpdesk costs by centralizing account management within Active Directory, enabling standardization on a single set of tools and processes. Centrally managing access rights and privileges strengthens security and enforces consistent security policies across heterogeneous systems.

“Marketo delivers easy, powerful and complete software for the modern marketer, and this partnership with Centrify will make it even easier for customers to access Marketo,” said Robin Bordoli, VP Partner Ecosystems at Marketo. “With Centrify as a partner, Marketo customers now have more choices for how they manage the enterprise access to our leading cloud application.”

The free Centrify for Marketo Single Sign-On offering provides an easy way for joint customers to integrate existing AD credentials with Marketo for secure SSO to SaaS applications with no holes in the firewall and without replicating sensitive data to the cloud or a third party. Centrify also helps Marketo customers seamlessly integrate mobile devices into Active Directory, giving IT secure central management of mobile devices & apps using familiar tools and processes. The Centrify Cloud Manager enables IT managers to centrally deploy and manage access to SaaS applications, apply Active Directory role-based access controls, and run activity reports.

In addition, Centrify for Marketo Single Sign-On uniquely goes beyond browser SSO to give users mobile “Zero Sign-on” to the Marketo mobile app. Marketo and Centrify are focused on giving businesses more flexibility and productivity by providing users with easy and secure access to all Marketo SaaS applications on all devices regardless of location.
