When Will We See Apple's iPhone 6, Haswell Mac, and iWatch?

Apple may announce the iWatch during its next event, which may come before the end of 2013. With an October iPad event currently being rumored, we may end up seeing Haswell Macbook Pros before the end of this year. And reports suggest that Apple is testing an iPhone 6 with a 6-inch screen.
 



Apple may have announced some big products yesterday, including the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s, but there are still some holes in its product lineup that customers are hoping Apple will fill. Among them: an updated Mac, larger iPhone, and the elusive iWatch.

All of these products are likely in the works right now but Apple did not use its September 10 event to show them off. Instead, the event only focused on the regular iPhone update and iOS 7. As important as the iPhones are, Apple's brand is centered around computers and new innovative products (the iWatch) just as much as phones.

Nowhere To Be Found: New Mac And The iWatch

Apple's iWatch has been one of the most heavily rumored and talked about devices this year. With Samsung and other competitors unveiling their versions of the smart watch, people are now wondering when Apple will step up and release its own.

Since other smart watches have not been welcomed with open arms by many customers, Apple may have actually postponed an iWatch announcement and release. While this has yet to be confirmed, it is very possible considering how the market has been going.

However, Apple may still announce the iWatch during its next event, which may come before the end of 2013. As anticipation grows for the Apple iWatch, the same thing is occurring for an updated Mac.

In an interesting turn of events, Apple decided to come out with updated low-end Macs (the MacBook Air) before its premium MacBook Pros. The main difference with the updated Airs, is that they include Haswell chips that provide much better battery life than the previous generation. Customers are now anxious to get their hands on Haswell-equipped Macbook Pros.

With an October iPad event currently being rumored, we may end up seeing Haswell Macbook Pros before the end of this year.

The iPhone 6

Apple has not even put the iPhone 5s up for sale yet, and many Web sites are already covering the iPhone 6 and the various features that may be included in it. Although it is hard to extrapolate and predict the actual feature changes in the iPhone 6, analysts and journalists alike are trying to determine whether or not Apple will make the iPhone 6 larger than the 5s.

Reports from last week suggested that iPhone 6s with 6-inch screens were in testing but it now seems as though Apple is more likely to stick to a smaller form factor. Even though analysts are fairly certain that Apple will include a larger screen with the iPhone, it will not be 6-inches.

Instead, the general consensus seems to be that a 4.5-inch or 5-inch screen would be best for the iPhone 6. Apple has always done well with its smaller screen sizes, so the 5-inch range makes a lot of sense.

As an IT person...Tell you one thing...the next iPhone needs at least a flash for the camera in the front as well as the back...basically the front flash/camera needs a boost.

A third of the apps I cant use till i get home and use a magnifying glass.

For those of us with vision problems, we are waiting for a larger version to match some of the other brands. I need the Retinol display on both the ipad 5 and the iPhone 6 in order to be able to use the devices
