New eggPlant version 12 delivers a more frictionless automation experience with an entirely new intuitive user interface, introducing a host of flexibility features that mean eggPlant really can be used anywhere. It also becomes the first test automation tool capable of fully controlling Android devices without rooting.

eggPlant GUI test automation drives and analyzes software exactly as a real user does - by looking at the screen. eggPlant uses patented image recognition technology to understand the layout of the interface, enabling test scripts to be created simply by describing what a user would do. eggPlant will test anything from mobile to desktop to cloud, and from Linux to HTML5. It is relied upon by more than 500 organizations across mobile, finance, defense, e-commerce, and media and gaming enterprises.
