Black Friday Tech Deals: Great for Business Buyers Too
Black Friday Tech Deals: Great for Business Buyers Too

One of the best deals for businesses on Black Friday is the Microsoft Surface that will be available for $199.99, $150 less than its regular price. If you need a full-featured laptop, the 13.3-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display -- with Intel Core i5 Haswell processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB solid-state drive -- is on sale for $1,099.99 on Black Friday.

It's always one of the best days to shop for new gadgets at a discount. But although most people think of Black Friday as a consumer shopping day, many of the deals are good for business buyers as well, either for use at work, or as holiday gifts for employees, customers, and associates.

If you don't already know what Black Friday is, it's the day after Thanksgiving in the U.S., when retailers and manufacturers mark down many items and offer huge incentives to get the holiday shopping season off to a quick start. The day is called Black Friday because it marks the point that many retailers finally enter the black -- meaning become profitable for the year. Black Friday sales normally result in massive lines at retail locations, although countless deals are now also being offered online -- making it easier than ever for business buyers to take advantage of the savings.

PCs and Tablets

Many businesses have started to rely on tablets (or convertible laptops) for their employees and one of the more popular work devices is the iPad. Although the full-size iPad may be the best option for workplaces, the mini works nearly as well and is available for $299 with a $100 gift card at Walmart. Don't worry though if you are not a fan of the smaller tablets, the iPad Air will be available at Target for $479 ($20 off) and it will come with a $100 gift card.

Of course, there are tons of deals available for Android tablets as well. The HP 7-inch will be coming out this week exclusively at Walmart and will be available for just $89. There are quite a few tablets with more power that may be better suited for business, but if you are simply using it as a companion device, $89 is a pretty attractive price.

Perhaps one of the best deals for businesses is the Microsoft Surface tablet that will be available for $199.99. That's $150 less than its regular price. If you are in need of a full-featured laptop, the 13.3-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display -- with Intel Core i5 Haswell processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB solid-state drive -- is on sale for $1,099.99.

For businesses, the MacBook Pro is definitely one of the best computers available and if you are dealing with graphics (ad agencies, for example), the retina display will be very beneficial.

Phones

Black Friday deals are also a great place to look for smartphones. One of the best phones on the market, the HTC One, will be available for $170 off retail, coming in at just $20 with a Verizon contract.

Although Android phones are likely best for businesses, the new iPhone 5s and 5c devices will be available at discounted prices as well. The iPhone 5s (Apple's latest high-end phone) will come in at $189 with a contract, and will also come with a $75 gift card through Walmart.
