Patch Tuesday Will Tie MS Record Battery Drains Linked To Windows 7 Windows Azure, SQL Azure Released Microsoft Earnings Up 60 Percent Is Bill Gates Batting for Team China? Microsoft Will Issue Patch for IE6 After a light start to the year, Microsoft is getting ready to dump a heavy load on the shoulders of IT administrators. On Patch Tuesday next week, Microsoft will release 13 patches. Some owners of Windows 7 machines are complaining that the newest Microsoft operating system may be causing battery problems. Microsoft said the problem appears to be related to system firmware. Microsoft has announced what it called a "significant milestone" with the release of Windows Azure and SQL Azure in 21 countries where customers and partners can launch production applications. Microsoft says its earnings in the most recent quarter have jumped 60 percent, as a rebound in the personal computer industry drove sales of the company's latest Windows operating system. Google might think Chinese censorship of the Internet is unacceptable, but Bill Gates says it's not that bad. In an interview, Gates called China's attempts to censor the Internet "very limited."
