Ballmer Says Windows 7 Sales Good Office 2010 Integrates with the Web MS Told To Stop Some Windows Sales Microsoft Releases Multiple Betas IE9 Likely To Access PC Hardware Windows Azure Ready To Live in Cloud Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer told a shareholders annual meeting that Windows 7 sold double the number of copies in one month compared to its previous Windows Vista operating system. With the public beta of Office 2010, Microsoft offers integration with web-based, lightweight versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint; a mobile version; and social-networking in Outlook. A Beijing court has ordered Microsoft to stop selling some versions of its Windows operating system in China in a licensing dispute with a local supplier who says Microsoft exceeded its rights. Microsoft has released the beta version of Office 2010, along with betas of the 2010 versions of SharePoint Server, Visio, Project and Office Web Apps. Office Mobile 2010 is also in beta. Microsoft told its Professional Developers Conference that it's already working on the next version of Internet Explorer and intends to make more PC hardware capabilities available to web developers.
