Electronic Health Records Innovator VersaSuite Releases Version 8.2 -- EHR Software Provider Introduces Enterprise Resource Planning Module for Hospital Information Systems

VersaSuite has an enterprise practice management module loaded with features to help manage the most complex clinical enterprises. VersaSuite’s electronic health records module makes it easy to enter large amounts of clinical data using a fast, click-based data entry.

VersaSuite’s electronic medication administration record (EMAR) interface includes a visual display of all outstanding orders for each patient and color-coding to easily distinguish overdue orders, orders due now, and future orders. A single view displays all patients and eliminates the need to check each patient individually. The computerized provider order entry (CPOE) seamlessly integrates with other modules and offers clinical decision support (CDS) and order and order set management.

The radiology information system (RIS)/picture archiving and communication system (PACS) is a robust system for handling the most demanding radiology needs and adheres to the DICOM standard for image formatting to ensure interoperability and quality images.

Lab information system (LIS) allows for automatic code capture which feeds the billing and revenue cycle management (RCM), CPOE orders, and the clinical decision support (CDS), including lab-allergy checks.

VersaSuite’s nutritional inventory system management simplifies and automates setting up and ordering detailed, ad-hoc, and predefined meal plans. This module also includes setup and food order, automatic meal charge with discounting capture, inventory tracking, data analysis tools, bulk purchasing, point of sales, UPC support, and seamless integration with HIS, CPOE and EHR.

The inventory module enables medical facilities and hospitals to track inventory levels, including orders, costs, and sales, in real-time. An enterprise-strength solution with no software limits to allow storage of millions of items and materials. The inventory module allows multi-site support and interfaces with scanners from a range of manufacturers, inventory reconciling to identify and prevent theft, and an integrated point of sales system.
