"It's too late," said analyst Michael Disabato of RIM's BlackBerry 10 launch. "Who's going to be battling it out for Christmas? You've got Microsoft with Windows 8 and Surface and all of the Windows 8 phones. You've got various Android devices. You've got iPhone 5, iPad Mini, iPad 4 -- and old BlackBerry devices with an ancient BlackBerry operating system."
