Mformation Expands Leadership Team -- Renews Focus on Global Customer Success and Delivery of Innovative Mobility Management Solutions

Woodbridge, New Jersey, USA -- January 27, 2014 -- Mformation® Software Technologies LLC, the leading global provider of solutions for managing wirelessly connected devices, today announced the expansion of its leadership team to address the evolving requirements of carriers, service providers and enterprises for innovative mobility management solutions in an increasingly mobile world.

“Mobile devices are predicted to outstrip the global population. In technology-driven parts of the world, users already average more than 3 mobile devices each and the demand for those devices to become increasingly more connected is evidenced by the exponential growth and expanding use cases for M2M. When you consider that growth along with increasing end-user requirements around usability, productivity, and convenience, it is clear that our customers face unique challenges and limitless opportunities,” said David Shimoni, who was appointed as Mformation’s President and General Manager, Carrier Division mid-last year. “This leadership team was specifically selected to help our customers capitalize on all of these new possibilities.   We have a renewed focus on driving success for our customers around the globe and in reclaiming our leadership position as innovators in mobility management solutions.”

The new appointments to the Mformation leadership team collectively contribute over 80 years of telecommunications experience in their respective areas to Mformation.  They include:

  • Christine Bolles, Vice President of Marketing and Product Management

  • Richard Barton, Vice President of Operations

  • Luca Ferrari, Vice President of Sales, EMEA

  • Gabriel Camarena, Regional Vice President of Sales, LATAM

Christine Bolles joins Mformation with a long history of evolving the mobility marketplace. In her most recent role as a Principal for inCode, a division of Ericsson, she developed business solutions and advanced technology strategies for top-tier wireless providers with focus on connected devices and related services, consumer analytics and mobile commerce, application management, enterprise solutions, and network migration. Christine has also served as the AVP of Marketing for the Americas region at Nokia, Enterprise Division and has held a variety of leadership roles at Cingular Wireless and SBC Communications.  “The Mformation platform has been designed for unprecedented scalability and performance, enabling management of billions of wirelessly connected devices for leading carriers worldwide,” says Bolles. “I am elated to be part of the Mformation team and to be able to bring our partners mobility management solutions for the evolving market on a platform that they have used to manage their core business for more than a decade. In 2014, we will be supporting next-generation network migrations with expansion of our ADD/ADC offerings and mobile data offload support. We will also continue to make a big splash in the M2M device management space, while simultaneously focusing on helping our carrier partners improve customer care, gain consumer insights, and manage the customer experience. It is a great time to join Mformation.”

Richard Barton is a leader in building strong customer relationships. Rich comes to Mformation from Comverse, where he held a variety of leadership positions in program management, client management, R&D and sales. He has a storied history of improving customer satisfaction and resolving problems for telecommunications companies. “The Mformation platform is a foundational product for wireless operators, and we are in the business of helping them grow their business. I have joined Mformation to make sure that we do that by delivering great products, solid support and high level of customer satisfaction in this very demanding market,” says Barton.

Luca Ferrari joins Mformation with both broad market leadership expertise and deep technical aptitude from Giesecke & Devrient (G&D) where he most recently served as the global head of device management, SIM sales, and customer solutions and previously served as General Manager, EMEA for SmartTrust (a G&D 2010 acquisition). Luca has also worked at companies such as Ericsson and FOREM in a variety of sales and engineering roles. “Innovation driven by customer needs is the DNA of Mformation,” says Ferrari.  “I am wired the same way. I am glad to be joining the company at a time when leading mobility management solutions can create so many opportunities for our customers.”
